A. J. Higgins - "Sandy"

Barrington, NJ
A. J. Higgins lives in Haddon Heights NJ and has been married to his wife Ruth for 55 years. Sandy and his wife are in fellowship in Barrington, NJ where he is an elder in the Barrington assembly.
For over 40 years he was a practicing physician in his community but has been retired for the last 8 years. Sandy was the editor of Truth and Tidings for over 20 years and has written commentaries for the What the Bible Teaches series. His published books include Bible biographies of Samuel, Elijah, Moses, and Solomon, as well as his very well received book regarding the principles of God's design for Marriage and the Family. Sandy has faithfully taught the Word of God over many decades and in many countries. His practical teaching, insights, and helpful alliteration have been staples for God's people being fed over the years.

Andrew Ussher

Newmarket, Ontario
Andrew was born in Trinidad where his parents Danny & Audrey Ussher served the Lord for almost 40 years. He, along with his sister Eleanor, immigrated to Canada in 1973 for educational purposes. Andrew was saved in 1974 during special gospel meetings with Jack Noble and Malcolm Radcliffe, and some time later was baptized and received into the fellowship of the assembly meeting in the Bracondale Gospel Hall in Toronto. That assembly eventually relocated to the northern suburbs of Toronto and met in the Langstaff Gospel Hall, where Andrew and his wife Rachel were in happy fellowship for many years.  Andrew & Rachel now meet with the believers who gather in the Newmarket Gospel Hall just a little north of Toronto. They have four adult children, two grandchildren, with a third expected any day in mid-September. While maintaining secular employment, Andrew has been active in preaching the gospel and teaching in his own local assembly, as well as helping at conferences and other teaching forums in various assemblies across North America.

Joseph Baker

Jackson, MI
Joseph was born in India, and his family immigrated to the USA when he was 1. He was born again at 11 years old. Joseph pursued studies in medicine. After completing his first 4 years of University, he stepped away in response to the Lord’s call. His wife Amanda is from Canada and was raised in a Hutterite community which she left after being converted. She and Joseph were married in 2016. They are in fellowship in the assembly that meets at the Jackson Gospel Hall. They have two children Ezra and Esther. In February of 2020, Joseph resigned from his position at a local hospital, and he and Amanda have devoted themselves fully to the word; in preaching the Gospel and teaching the Scriptures. They have helped locally in Michigan and in special Gospel series across North America. They work together with a desire to help existing assemblies and also to see new work done in North America.
